Solidarity City is committed to assessing and fighting for the needs of the most marginalized in our community. We partner with those who are assisting the needs of the LGBTQIA+, the disabled, and the undocumented to provide resources and care in these trying times. An example of this is providing “Know Your Rights” cards to migrant workers and their families, and standing in opposition to harmful anti-trans legislation in our community. Through mutual aid and public advocacy for protections, Solidarity City is standing with those most affected by the harmful policies of the Trump Administration.

To provide inclusive support and resources that minimize harm and promote well-being for all individuals, including those struggling with addiction, by honoring their unique experiences and needs.

Gives the opportunity to connect with follow BGDSA members about politics. Using reading groups and movie nights we hope to bring everyone together to help understand socialism better.

Comms covers a variety of things to bring people into the BGDSA. We are the ones who create the art. Also we provide logistical support for the working groups to reach out. Comms is the group that runs the website, social media, weekly news letter, tabling, flyering, button creation, and any art you see.
